Text Box: 1st Sgt. Rob Robinson   1st Lt. Rob Robinson Email     Rob started as a private with the 2nd Colorado Volunteer Cavalry and was assigned to Mc Lain's Independent Artillery Battery. He progressed through the ranks and is now the 1st Lt. He hails from Topeka, KS. Recently he purchased a new 12lb. Mountain Howitzer which allowed the old Mountain Howitzer to be retired for repairs. Through research and a lot of questions of other artillerymen and experimentation he has developed the methods of building charges not only for the cannon, but also the other weapons used by the unit including all models of pistols used. As a former firearms instructor he has a great deal of knowledge and a lot to offer the unit. Along with the help of Capt. Reitmeyer who is a highway patrol Lieutenant and firearms range master, he is responsible for safety of the unit in regards to weapons. Being retired allows for lots of time to expand his knowledge and expertise.
